Beijing BAMC City TV Co., Ltd. (City TV) is an only outdoor video media platform in Beijing which is a subsidiary company of BAMC founded in Dec. 2004.
City TV focus on providing programs of latest news, Olympic game information, current hot affairs and fashion entertainment to the audience outdoor or inside the buildings with large size LCD screen and advanced DVB-T digital TV technology which initially create the model of “TV Magazine”. The length of the programs is 15 hours each day. It is an important channel as a social public information and urgent alarm distribution platform.
At present, the networks has already covered all important urban area in Beijing and the LCD screens distribute in the buildings of government, financial institutes, hospitals, shopping departments and entertainment area with more than 10 thousand screens in 4000 units. City TV is the sole outdoor video media permitted to enter into the office buildings of government, Banks and headquarters of state-own enterprises. Some of the super large size outdoor LCD has been installed in 40 important down town area such as CBD, Xidan, Wangfujing and Financial Street.
The development target of City TV is to set up a general networks which will connect with new media in many cities such as Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen and will establish an alliance of state-own new media in China.
