Beijing TV Art Center
Beijing TV Art Center came into being in 1982. It is the first professional TV drama series producer in Mainland China and is one of the most influential and prestigious producers of TV series. It has made great achievement over the past 25 years. The famous TV series are as follows: “Four Generations Under One Roof”, the first full-length TV series of China”; “Aspiration” the first full-length studio-produced TV series of China; “Stories in Editorial Office”, the first TV-Comedy show in China; “A Native of Beijing in New York” , the first major TV production financed through private mortgage and shot entirely on locations abroad; “All-round Prosperity” , a sequel of “Stories in Editorial Office”, the first Spring Festival TV Comedy; “The lvy TV Theatre”, successfully launched by Beijing TV Art Center, featuring the Nation’s best TV series that have a total of 324 episodes, and the number of audiences was about 800 million.
In recent years it produced a number of popular TV dramas, such as “Year after Year”, “The Happy Life of Talkative Zhang”, “Never Give Up”, “Married within 10Years”, “Happiness as Flowers”, “Golden Wedding”, etc. A large number of the Beijing TV Art Center productions have been awarded the most prestigious honors of the Chinese television industry. In short, the best works of the Beijing TV Art Center have made considerable contributions to the development of Quality Program content over the years, and can now be regarded as Classics of Chinese TV series.
