The introduction of Beijing Mobile TV
Beijing Mobile TV is a major Chinese ground digital TV trial project, which was approved by The State Administration of Radio Film and Television. Currently, it has established wireless digital TV single frequency network in Beijing zone by four transmitting stations located in Central TV Tower, Mingren Square, Jingguang Center and 491 Station and a couple of gap fillers located at the airport, and Xidan etc. The network has achieved effective coverage from the center of Beijing to the sixth ring road area to provide various live TV programs.

Based on advanced network, Mobile TV has successfully set up business platforms for Bus TV, Taxi TV and other vehicle TV etc. It has owned over 24,000 ground digital receivers. It broadcasts 18 hour TV programs daily and the audiences are more than 10,000,000 per day. During Olympic Games, the total amount of terminals will exceed 50,000, which will cover all the major open air areas. It is becoming the super popular new media to the local citizens.

The philosophy of Beijing Mobile TV is to make it possible to "watch it anywhere, anytime, and impressive". It is aiming at more program content and customer service from the original network and terminal concept. Beijing Mobile TV is trying to provide the latest information, active interaction, breaking news, live traffic news and wonderful Olympic Games to the audience.
